When Gould arrived at the Daily News, one of the first things editor Martin Dunn asked her to co-ordinate was the branding. Several departments had several ideas and  different ideas how they should represent the Daily News to the outside world.

A house style guide was created with fonts usage and corporate colour palettes. Also to set the tone of pictures and their use.

Gould also designed adverts incorporating branding guidelines which resulted in an award from AdAge in 2010 for the most noticed adverts.

The “couch car” Gould created for New Yorks AutoShow got the newspaper drive around Times Square with Good Morning America.
