Gould was headhunted to return to New York to launch a weekly celebrity and entertainment magazine for the Daily News. New York was a city that was always having a party somewhere and there was no publication covering or reporting them. Along came 25Hours, a brainchild of Martin Dunn who when asked why 25 hours? “Because in New York 24 is never enough.” Thousands of  celebrity pictures and parties were available.

And when New York Fashion Week came along, on one occasions, the team were eyeballing 92,000 images in two days to choose the best runway shots for the biggest shopping town in the world.

Also available were the historic celebrity pictures from the archive of photographer Richard Corkery.

Inevitably the magazine went online, where even more features and reportage could be published. A lot was going on in that time.
